Situated less than 2 hours from Paris, in the heart of Normandy, your personal driver-guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to Rouen, famous for its Historical center. A local guide will then welcome you for a private 2 hour Walking Tour: you will see the highlights of Rouen, including the magnificent cathedral, ‘rue du Gros Horloge’, medieval houses, the square where Joan of Arc was burnt at the stake in 1431. While in Rouen you will also be given an introduction to Impressionism, and its masters: Monet, Pissaro, Gaugain.

After enjoying lunch at France’s oldest restaurant “La Couronne” (serving excellent ‘fare’ since 1345, although the menu has changed slightly since then!) A short coastal drive away is Deauville, a beautiful, elegant seaside resort, famous for its beach, its American Film Festival, casino and racecourse. You will no doubt appreciate the architectural beauty of the belle époque villas and hotels, the numerous chic boutiques, and “Planches de Deauville”.

Driving via ‘the Corniche Road’ to Honfleur, a charming harbor town situated on the Seine’s estuary. Honfleur has inspired numerous, illustrious artists, Monet included, and you will understand why when you see it with your own eyes.

You will then be driven back to Paris, crossing the Seine River twice via two famous bridges, The Pont de Normandie & The Pont de Tancarville, France’s downscaled ‘Golden Gate Bridge’.
